The Osceola Community Hospital Auxiliary plays a large role in the success and expansion of the hospital. The Auxiliary provides key financial support by raising money to purchase much needed equipment. Recently the Auxiliary purchased some hide-a-bed chairs for the new patient rooms.
Furthermore, in the last few years the Auxiliary has provided funding for an E-Z Stand with a scale. In addition to the E-Z Stand, the Auxil¬iary, has purchased new Lifeline units, a new treadmill for cardiac and pulmonary rehab, a birthing bed, a new mammography machine, and new duvet hide-a-beds for patient rooms plus televisions for those rooms. Moreover, the Auxiliary has helped with “bright Beginnings of Osceola County”, “Heartwood Heights”, 2nd Beginnings, and various other projects throughout the hospital and community.
Presently, the Hospital Auxiliary has about 200 members. If you are interested in becoming a member of this very dedicated team please contact 712-754-2574, for more information.
By means of their donations to the hospital, the Auxiliary helps to curtail hospital expenses in a small rural hospital.
The Osceola Community Hospital Auxiliary is a very important member of the TEAM at OCH.
