Osceola Community Hospital is a locally owned, private, nonprofit, health care organization located in Sibley, Iowa providing inpatient, outpatient and community health services to the citizens of Osceola County and the surrounding area.
Services offered include general medical care, surgical care, obstetrical care, coronary care, intensive care, extended care, skilled nursing; home health, hospice care, emergency care and child development services.
Osceola Community Hospital has 25 beds which include one bed for coronary intensive care, three for obstetrics with three bassinets available in the nursery, and the remaining twenty-one beds are utilized for acute patients along with skilled and intermediate care patients. In February 2003, the Osceola Community Hospital became a Critical Access Hospital.
The hospital provides a wide range of diagnostic and treatment services along with twenty-four hour emergency care staffed by members of the Osceola Community Hospital medical staff who are on call for emergencies.
Osceola Community Hospital is part of Avera Health through a management contract with Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The hospital is certified by Medicare/Medicaid for all of its services.
