Royale Meadows receives national honors

Royale Meadows Care Center received My InnerView's Excellence in Action award, a national honor recognizing the facility's commitment to superior customer satisfaction. Over 5,000 nursing homes in the country participated in a 2009 satisfaction survey. Royale Meadows was one of only 342 nursing homes to receive this high honor. The award, which is presented annually, recognizes those providers that performed in the top ten percent of nursing homes.

"This year's award recipients deserve to be recognized and applauded for their dedication to customer satisfaction," said Neil Gulsvig, President, My InnerView. "This annual award underscores the difference they make and serves to honor the valuable work that they do."

My InnerView, the applied research and quality-improvement solutions provider that presents the annual award, supports leaders across the entire senior care profession with tools to measure, benchmark and improve performance. This year's award for superior customer satisfaction was presented to select My InnerView customers who completed a resident or family satisfaction survey in 2009, had a minimum 30 percent response rate, and scored in the top ten percent of qualifying facilities on the question "What is your recommendation of this facility to others?" in terms of the percentage of respondents rating the nursing home as "excellent."

"We are pleased to receive yet another quality award for our nursing home care," said Kayleen Lee, chief executive officer for the Sioux Center Community Hospital & Health Center Avera. "This award exemplifies what we knew all along - that we have a caring staff and strong commitment to providing the highest quality care for our residents."

This is the second quality award given to Royale Meadows Care Center in 2009. They were also given a Step I Quality Improvement Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.
