Volunteer Services

Sioux Center Health has many volunteer opportunities available to members of our communities. With volunteer staffing in areas ranging from the hospital, to daycare, to our senior living facilities and hospice care, there are plenty of opportunities to serve. You will make a difference in the lives of those you serve, and assist our staff by contributing to our non-profit health ministry.

Volunteer With Us

To become a volunteer, you will need to complete an application as well as the required background checks and health assessment. We will also set up a time to meet with you to provide information on our facilities and to discuss your volunteer goals. We want to make sure you are comfortable and competent in your duties before beginning services. Upon completion of orientation, new volunteers may shadow an experienced volunteer until confident to perform the duty on their own.

As a volunteer, you will have flexibility with your schedule and will be able to select opportunities that would best fit your interests and talents. If you are interested in speaking with someone from Volunteer Services regarding the volunteer program or available opportunities, please call Renae at (712) 722-8296.

Please print the Volunteer Application and mail to:

Why Become a Volunteer?

There are many reasons to volunteer! Volunteers are able to enrich the lives of others, put their talents and experience to work for a good cause and make an impact on the community. Volunteers are also able to meet new people and develop new friendships all while exploring your own interests and passions. Volunteers have the ability to learn new skills, build self-confidence, enrich their education and have a feeling of accomplishment.
