Position: EMT (ongoing need)
Status: On Call
Hours of Duty: Rotating shifts with weekend and holiday involvement
Performs basic life support service and makes emergency response calls In accordance with the established MN Department of Health Standards. Serves as either a patient attendant or driver of the emergency vehicle.
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care
Status: Full Time/Part Time/Casual
Hours of Duty: All shifts – may involve weekend and holiday rotation
Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the resident. Must be certified as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Minnesota.
Position: Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse – Clinic
Hours of Duty: Primarily Day time hours – involved in Saturday Clinic rotation
Responsible for the overall flow of patient care. Assists physicians and physician assistant with patient care, scheduling examinations, and performing miscellaneous clinic duties in connection with referrals, appointments, ordering medical supplies, etc. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program. Must have a National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association. Or must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota. Must also be CPR certified. This position may involve coverage for satellite clinics. Some travel may be involved. Prior experience in a clinic setting preferred.
Position: Dietary Aide
Hours of Duty: Day/Evening Hours – Weekend & Holiday Rotation
Responsible for all phases of breakfast and/or dinner meal preparation for the hospital, long-term care residents, patients, guests, and employees. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. Must be willing to fill in on shifts as needed. Previous dietary employment preferred. Will train.
Position: Registered Nurse – Acute Care
Hours of Duty: Day & Nights/12 hour shifts, holiday & weekend involvement
Performs nursing care involving direct services for all acute care patients. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed as an RN in the State of Minnesota. One year of experience in nursing preferred.
Position: Maintenance Technician
Hours of Duty: Primarily Day time hours/will involve weekend & holiday rotation
Creates a comfortable physical environment for patients, employees, medical staff, and general public. Performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings and grounds, including carpentry, painting, masonry, refrigeration, housekeeping, yard care, floor care, and maintaining of equipment. Must have a first level boilers license, or willing to obtain within the first six months of employment. Must be a high school graduate or have equivalent. Previous maintenance experience preferred.
