Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer at Weskota Manor Avera
You and your talents are needed by the residents at Weskota Manor Avera. The following volunteer opportunities are possible service areas available to you. As you participate in sharing your life with others, there will be mutual enrichment and rewards. Many volunteers say they receive more than they give and some are giving greatly!
Ways to Volunteer
You may choose to volunteer on your own, through the hospital or manor auxiliary, through a church or a local club/organization. Ways to volunteer include:
- Adopt-A-Resident Program - You can "adopt-a-resident" by making regular visits and sending cards to residents.
- Coffee Pourer - Become a coffee pourer for breakfast at 8 a.m., noon meal or evening supper at 6 p.m. We especially need your assistance on weekends.
- Special Talents - Do you have talents that you could share in one of the following areas: crafts, music, sewing, trips, bingo, reading, gardening, decorating, etc.?
- Visit Residents - You're always welcome for coffee time at 3:30 p.m. every day. Just spending time with the residents is always appreciated.
