If you or a loved one needs immediate medical assistance, the St. Michael's Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day - everyday - to take care of your big and small emergencies. The Emergency Department is always ready for you and staffed by an emergency physician and an experienced staff.

The St. Michael's Emergency Department provides 24-hour, daily physician coverage for patients who have experienced an injury or facing a life-threatening situation.

Our staff is highly qualified and trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

The Emergency Department offers emergency care consisting of:

• 24-Hour Coverage
• Advanced Life Transport   
• Fixed wing and helicopter transport as needed to area hospitals.
