Tuesday of the Twenty-ninth Week in Ordinary Time

“Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Gird your loins and light your lamps and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding, ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival. Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself, have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them. And should he come in the second or third watch and find them prepared in this way, blessed are those servants.’” (Luke 12:35-38)

Luke's Gospel describes how Jesus' followers should be ready at all times. To be ready, prepared and to be faithful to Jesus' teachings.

Dear Jesus, help us to always be prepared.

Prepared to meet and respond to the needs of our patients and their families.

Prepared to assist our co workers with our work.

Prepared to work together to achieve our goals and to always be focused on the mission of Avera. Prepared to respond to the many challenges and changes we face each and every day.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
