Monday in the Octave of Easter
“God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. He is exalted to the right hand of the Father.” (Acts 2:32-33)
“Christ is risen, He is risen indeed. Alleluia!” Millions of people around the world said those words yesterday on Easter or Resurrection Day. Those words are the basis of my faith, and I want to celebrate that everyday. Certainly Easter is one of those “mountaintop” celebrations in the Church where joyous music is sung by choirs, and organs, pianos and trumpets are played with great enthusiasm. The message of that music always brings tears to my eyes. I hope that you have that celebration of life in your heart today and every day.
Dear Savior Jesus,
thank You for coming to earth to be our brother
to die on the cross for our forgiveness
and to rise from the grave for our salvation.
Please bless us with the assurance and the joy of our new life in You.
In Your Name we pray. Amen.
